Greatly underappreciated, Titus Andronicus is one of the earliest Shakespeare tragedies. It's also the bloodiest of all his works, and thus is not taught very often in schools.
I've taken the liberty of producing a more youth-friendly introduction to the play, in a form that's accessible to a younger audience. I think you'll agree that it somewhat softens the blow(s).
