Songs ga doko ni arimasu ka?

I had to take the videos of the songs down temporarily. I'll replace them with higher-quality versions soon (probably sometime between Xmas and New Year's).

The Titus Andronicus Colouring Book

Greatly underappreciated, Titus Andronicus is one of the earliest Shakespeare tragedies. It's also the bloodiest of all his works, and thus is not taught very often in schools.
I've taken the liberty of producing a more youth-friendly introduction to the play, in a form that's accessible to a younger audience. I think you'll agree that it somewhat softens the blow(s).

Inspired by a Day at the Book Retailer

Meanwhile...

That's right. I'm accusing Chapters/Indigo of being Machiavellian because its books cost so much. What a cheap imbecile I am.

Just wait till I have to buy college textbooks. I'm this close to putting on a beret and ranting about The Man in a coffee shop.

Here Comes IRPM

Starting this week, I'll be using this blog as an outlet for The Incredible Radiation Poisoning Man.

I came up with The Incredible Radiation Poisoning Man as a kind of play on the idea of the radiation-borne superhero. That's not his chin -- it's his enlarged thyroid. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goitre

On the old Arimasu Ka? blog on CJSW.com, I posted Birth Control As Taught By The Incredible Radiation Poisoning Man, which started out as an assignment I did for a high school health class. I'll try to get it posted here soon.

Here we go...

Hand-drawn in Photoshop with graphics tablet.

With this, I'm trying out the Creative Commons license, but I can't help but think the patter here looks a little too conspicuous...

Arimasu ka wa doko desu ka?

After about 2 months at CJSW's news website, Arimasu Ka? has moved here to a separate blog. The change was made for the sake of unbiased journalism, which is something that I'm probably incapable of.
I hold no hard feelings, and now I won't have to censor myself. This will be less of an editorial cartoon thing and more of a regular cartoon thing.

In celebration, I present to you some of the cartoons that the news department wouldn't let me post--not because they didn't think they were good, but because we didn't want letterbombs sent to us.

These vans are driving around Calgary now, and they just make me want to throw up my lunch and eat it again. The picture in this cartoon is modeled after the one I first saw on these vans, but there's a new one now where the fetus is being held in someone's hand. Imagine if that was the first job of a future hand model. I wonder if he'll put that on his resume...

I checked, and the plural is not fetii. Now I can relax about the grammar and focus on what a twisted individual I am.

I think they might have been rejected because they're all about fetuses. Fetuses can be funny.
